Plane tickets are issued immediately while booking if purchased by Visa or Mastercard credit card with an additional security pin (Visa Secure or Mastercard Identity Check), or within 48 hours from the booking, if bought by a different credit card.

What happens if I do not receive the plane ticket bought on Bologna Airport website
In extremely exceptional cases beyond the will and control of AdB, it may not be possible to issue within 48 hours the plane tickets for confirmed bookings with the label "open status", as well as the other cases where, prior communication to the Client, further checks on the received booking are necessary.
AdB reserves the right to check the personal data and credit card holder's name, requiring a copy of the ID, passport and credit card.In such cases AdB shall have to promptly inform the Client and provide for, whenever possible, the issuing of an equivalent plane ticket to the one requested, or else agree with the Client on an alternative solution.
