Cyrano - CYbeR Awareness diploma

Cyrano is an EU-funded project that will be implemented in the next 24 months by Bologna Airport (Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna S.p.A.) co-funded by European Union within the Connecting Europe Facility 2014-2020 programme.
Cyrano is thought as an innovative mix of technological e-learning tool (both in Italian and English) and organizational procedure upgrades (integrated quality procedures), focused and tailored on critical infrastructures and essential services operators.

Cyrano aims to increase awareness among employees, considered as IT network access points and often target of attacks to the cyber security of companies. It is therefore needed to train and prepare them on cybersecurity and cyber awareness fields as employees represent the “first line of defence” of company IT network and their behaviour can strongly affect its resilience.

Cyrano represents, then, the implementation of a virtuous path towards a higher level of protection of IT network and infrastructures to prevent cyber-attacks, able to grant its efficacy and the effectiveness over the years thanks to the inclusion in the Annual Training Plan and in the Training Manual (annex 1A Roles Training Path and annex 2 Syllabi of the Manual), mandatory documents for Bologna Airport.

Cyrano's approach is in line with EU Policies and Laws. Cyrano already received letters of support from National and International Entities who declared their interest in following its development and have information and suggestions to take-up the project results.
