As part of periodic maintenance schedule, the runway of Bologna Marconi Airport will be closed to air traffic for nine nights, from 00.05 a.m. to 06.00 a.m., for signage renovation work, control of AVL, pavement maintenance and more.
The activities, already communicated to the airlines concerned at the beginning of the year, will be carried out on 30 August, 31 August, 1 September, 6 September, 7 September, 8 September, 13 September, 14 September and 15 September, barring bad weather which may require changes in planning. The period of the work was defined in consideration of the various technical, operational and meteorological aspects, which are believed to allow a more rapid and efficient execution of the planned activities.
During the nights mentioned, flights to/from Bologna cannot be operated and the airlines, which have already been informed for some time, have decided independently how to manage their operations.
Apologizing for the inconvenience, aimed at improving airport infrastructure, we invite passengers to contact their airline directly for details on alternatives to individual flights and any refunds or rerouting.
