The Board of Directors of AdB S.p.A. met yesterday under the Chairmanship of Enrico Postacchini following an extraordinary meeting deemed necessary for an urgent evaluation of issues related to overcrowding at the airport.
The management outlined the actions and measures agreed upon with Enac in order to improve service levels at the airport until the end of the current Summer 2024 season, in response to the extraordinary passenger flows observed in recent weeks during certain times of the day.
The new status of "coordinated airport," effective from the end of October 2024, will then create improved conditions for the airport.
The administrative body of AdB S.p.A. also renewed its openness to dialogue with its stakeholders, to be conducted appropriately in the proper forums, with full availability for a constructive and proactive discussion. In this regard, they, first and foremost, reiterated the rules of dialogue and engagement outlined in the "Policy for the Management of Dialogue with Shareholders and Other Stakeholders," adopted as a listed company adhering to the Corporate Governance Code, in compliance with Principle IV and Recommendation no. 3 of the current Corporate Governance Code.
Regardless of the initiatives already undertaken, the Board has instructed management to prioritize additional actions aimed at improving the quality of services provided to passengers.
