  • NOTICE OF WORK AT THE AIRPORT

    Passengers are advised that we resumed the work of upgrading spaces and replacement of machines at security controls, with remaking of floor and reduction of access lanes to the boarding hall. We have already activated 4 new machines before the summer, now we are working on the activation in successive phases of another 4 machines, to make security checks easier and faster.

    We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working to make our airport more comfortable and efficient.

RUNWAY CLOSURE FROM 16 TO 21 SEPTEMBER FOR MAINTENANCE WORKS

In the light of the airfield maintenance planning, Bologna Airport will be closed to air traffic from 00:01 a.m. of 16th September to 06:00 a.m. of 21st September 2020 for rehabilitation works of a large part of the runway and taxiway pavement, including horizontal markings and ground lights.

No landing or take-off will be allowed during this period and Airlines, already informed, will choose whether cancelling their operations or moving them to alternate airports.

We apologize for this disruption which is however necessary to constantly improve the airport infrastructure. For details on specific flights, refund or rerouting claims, passengers can refer directly to their Airlines.
