Ryanair’s Marketing Director, Dara Brady, said:
“As vaccination rollout programmes continue in the coming months, air traffic is set to soar this Summer and we are delighted to announce an additional based aircraft in Bologna, which now becomes Ryanair’s second biggest base in Italy with 10 aircraft in total. This additional capacity will deliver 64 routes from Bologna, including eight new connections to Billund, Budapest, Chania, Menorca, Oradea, Santorini, Sibiu and Paphos as part of our Italian Summer ’21 schedule.
Italian customers can now book a well-earned summer getaway safe in the knowledge that if their plans change they can move their travel dates up to two times with a zero-change fee up until the end of Oct 2021.
To celebrate, we are releasing seats for sale from Bologna from just € 19.99 for travel in until the end of Oct 2021, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (25th March). Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”
Bologna Airport Aviation Business Director, Antonello Bonolis, said:
“We have been living tough times and we have been holding on during this year and a half working together with our main partners to assure our passengers the widest possible network.
The cooperation with Ryanair has never stopped nor even diminished or weakened. On the contrary, we have shared our experiences to readjust a routes programme and to fit the emerging needs of the flying demand.
I have really appreciated the flexibility and the strong commitment I have always felt in Ryanair, and here we are: presenting together a rich brand new programme, looking forward the coming up Summer season, which will definitely see the recovery in the aviation industry.
Hopefully, thanks to massive vaccination, we will come back to fly, to enjoy our time reaching our favourite destinations or discovering some new options offered”.
